The Cold Swell

We did it
On 18th November 2012 we successfully raised £255 with 10 supporters in 30 days
The Cold Swell is a documentary that that explores the world of winter surfing in the UK. We discover why thousands of surfers brave the cold seas, rough waves and hostile climate of popular surfing destinations such as Cornwall, Devon and Saltburn. The documentary will be around fifteen minutes in length and will be used in show reels, promotions and competitions. There is no restriction on any commercial use of the project. We have attached our treatment to this webpage, so please feel free to download it and look at our concept and narrative. The footage that we film before the first week of December will be edited down to a final edit by December 10th. The documentary will be completed by this date.

Please do let us know if the Bude community can help you in your project, as you\'re probably aware we have some truly amazing surf on our six beaches. We feature a number of surf schools, surf board manufacturers, surf champions and artists on the Bude Business Community FB page, would be great to meet up sometime. Many congratulations once again.
