To purchase a bakery oven that allow us to increase capacity at our new premises

We did it!

On 16th Oct 2017 we successfully raised £2,600 of £2,500 target with 44 supporters in 21 days

New stretch target

We are massively thankful to everyone that has pledged so far and helped us reach our main target. 

All pledges towards the stretch target will go towards fixtures and fitting for the shop, this will include the sign writing. 

To purchase a bakery oven that allow us to increase capacity at our new premises. We have secured the new premises & much of the equipment needed to go in but would love to have a larger oven to ensure we can meet with increasing demand.

 We have been running The Wobbly Cottage from home for the last 4 years and have seen it grow organically in that time to the point of outgrowing the Cottage. We have many loyal,  regular customers who visit us at the Cottage and at market week in week out who really are our bread and butter! We also supply cafes & a local hotel with our bread up to 6 days per week. 

We pride ourselves in using as many local seasonal products as possible with lots if our produce coming from local farms & small independent businesses. All of our flour is made from British wheat from mills in the southwest.

Over the past 2 years we have won 4 Taste of the West product awards. Our Olive Sourdough (gold and Champion in class 2016), Scotch Egg (gold 2016), Polenta & Pumpkin Seed Sourdough (gold 2017) & Raisin, Fennel seed & Orange Sourdough (silver2017)   

We really feel The Wobbly Cottage is going from strength to strength and that a small amount of growth is what is necessary to continue with this.
