Who are we & what is 'The White Experience'?
Feminine care amongst homeless women can often go overlooked. With little or no access to toiletries and sanitary products, women are forced to move from one unpredictable situation to another and are likely to deal with unimaginable discomfort whilst on the go. They may never feel clean. This Christmas, The Beauty Therapy Project aims to raise awareness of feminine care amongst homeless women in the UK.
‘The White Experience’ hosted by The Beauty Therapy Project is a one-off Christmas outreach event that will pamper 30 women who will be accessed through homeless shelter, St Mungo’s. We also hope to partner with organisations who can help provide longer term solutions. The campaign involves a team of over 50 volunteers who will be helping make ‘her’ Christmas a comfortable PERIOD.
Christmas is such a great time for many of us; with family and friends gathering together to create beautiful memories and share gifts. But for some women Christmas can just be another lonely and extremely uncomfortable period and so we are here to help change that!
What will your support go towards?
Your donation will fund and ensure the women have the following:
- Access to shower facilities
- Full access to clothes and shoes (to keep!) with styling
- Full makeovers and hair styling
- Fully decorated banquet hall
- A long table Christmas banquet with all the trimmings
- Bespoke & personalised word art
- 30 Christmas toiletry hampers
It would be great to spare no expense in ensuring these women have an amazing experience and to know that they are cherished and not overlooked in today's society – what better way to do this than by all of us getting involved!
Any extra proceeds will go towards making the pamper day as luxurious as possible and future TBTP events and campaigns.

We truly hope to collect more than 30 of each of the items to ensure we have an even wider effect on the community. To this aim, we have teamed up with an organisation who will ensure any extra items (after each of the attending women have been fully equipped with a great supply) are distributed to further homeless women in need and delivered to a variety of homeless shelters around London.
