Back in 2013 we unleashed a Kate Bush tribute like none other before, with over 300 wonderful people joining in us in performing Kate Bush's legendary Wuthering Heights dance, this July 16th we are back and BIGGER than ever - we shall have a spectacle of around 1000 Cathy's this time. Get yourselves one of our limited edition Cathy dresses or posters and help towards our costs.
This is totally free to take part in, because we want as many people as possible to enjoy this afternoon of unbridled silliness and Kate Bush celebration. However, there are a few costs involved and your contribution would be gratefully received, actually we'd be more than chuffed!
Your contribution will go towards a number of costs, for example we'll use it for the sound system and sound equipment hire, filming the event, editing the film, much needed volunteer rewards, transport costs, prop and costume costs, prizes, practical safety things like clickers and signage - all required in order to create the biggest and best Wuthering Heights enactment that England has ever seen.
The afternoon of absurdity and performance takes place at Lambeth Country Show, also a wonderful free event.

Dust off your red dresses, grab a wig and get ready to unleash your inner Cathy via the medium of dance … Shambush! are back with The Ultimate, Ultimate Kate Bush Experience in London (Lambeth Country Show) on Saturday 16 July 2016 (12pm - 4.15pm).
Was it really only three years ago that we produced The Ultimate Kate Bush Experience as part of Brighton Fringe 2013, garnering international coverage and a 300-strong field full of Bush-a-likes along the way?
Yes. Yes it was… and much like Cathy herself, it’s back Heathcliff – let them in-a-your window, eh?
After an online revival in late 2015 – which saw footage of the event go viral to inspire 18 independent, global events under the moniker 'The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever' - we'll mastermind the brand new Ultimate, Ultimate Kate Bush Experience; an event dedicated to the brilliance of Bush, delivered with a serious dose of silly.
Taking place in London on July 16th at Lambeth Country Show, The Ultimate, Ultimate Kate Bush Experience will coincide with other Kate Bush-inspired events taking place across the globe; from Berlin to Montreal, Tel Aviv to Sydney. With plenty of ridiculous activities, seriously silly dancing and competitions thoughout the day, all culminating in a record-breaking attempt at a mass Wuthering Heights performance – your place in music history beckons.
Shambush, meaning a shambolic ambush, create interactive, intimate and nonsensical theatre experiences for all. Building, stitching and sticking, from conception to production, Shambush! have shammed up events and projects for 50 to 12000 people at festivals (Latitude, Glastonbury), venues (Brighton Dome) and private commissions across the country; including a complete theme park experience in just two minutes to a full fairground in some ladies toilets.
