I got to know the charity Mission World Peace Human Rights, by following Facebook groups. However, I could see that sadly not many people were supporting this worthy charity. As a result, I decided to organise a fundraising event to try and raise crucial funds to provide clean drinking water, food and a good education for children and families. Our event is a red carpet evening celebrating African culture with Thai dancing, salsa and other entertainment. It is based in Bournemouth and will be on the 16/08/19. You can see our Facebook page for more details.
I am also a film maker, and producer, so it is my aim to research and eventually make a documentary to reveal the issues and struggles of the people in Togo.
This is my first experience of helping the needy people of Togo, however I have worked on charity projects before such as providing clean water for HIV/Aids sufferers in the temple in my homeland Thailand. Furthermore I am the youth ambassador of the Youth Cancer Trust Bournemouth UK. I am passionate about causes such as world peace and human rights, and any support for our fundraising event will be much appreciated. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support.
