The Sanctuary or El Santuario is a dream or is it a destiny.

I would be very grateful for any support towards bringing this dream into reality.

It all started in Oct 17 with the loss of a long suffering member of the family, Monty the Boxer dog. He arrived two years prior as a very undernourished and neglected street dog from Spain. My wife and I were asked to foster him, however adoption was the only option for this little soul that needed some much overdue love in his life. Monty was skin and bone, covered in wounds from beatings, dog bites and suffering from Epilepsy, however he still showed so much love and trust in that there are still good people out there.

We had two amazing years with Monty, however a brain tumour finally took him from us. This rocked our world and started our journey. With your help we would like to establish El Santuario and offer a safe place for animals and people alike. Once established we aim to offer a holistic retreat for both the body, mind and soul where you can visit with your pets. The tranquil location will allow you to unwind, relax and restore inner peace, so easily overlooked during our busy lifestyles. Treatments and packages will be available for both you and your pet.

In addition we hope to continue to give back in support of the underprivileged by aiding local charities in the prevention of cruelty to animals and continue to aid with the fostering of animals.

Monty when he arrived.

Monty enjoying one of his regular holidays with the family. This is what his life should be and not a daily battle for survival.
