The Media Exchange Runathon
8 Consultants,
3 Weeks,
400 Kilometres.
The Coronavirus has had a massive impact on everyone’s lives in one way or another.
At The Media Exchange we have felt particularly inspired, not only by the legend that is Captain Tom Moore and others such as Joe Wicks but also by all of the other amazing groups and individuals out there, who are doing their bit to support the community and put People First - especially our NHS Heroes.
Which is why we are keen to get involved and help in our own little way too...
As of today (Monday 20th April), for a period of 3 weeks our team will be using their daily exercise as outlined by the government, to run/walk 400 Kilometres to raise money for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for NHS Staff.
Masks for NHS Heroes is a crowdfunding initiative backed by actor James McAvoy that is raising funds to provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to protect healthcare workers against Covid-19 while caring for sick patients.
It was launched by a group of UK-based doctors and GPs who intend to resolve the lack of hospital supplies due to increasing numbers of patients being admitted with coronavirus.
It is providing medical workers with face masks, visors, surgical gowns and gloves.
If all of our wonderful connections donated even just £1 each, we’d make a sizeable difference!
We welcome any donations you may feel appropriate.
Please Help Us - to Help NHS staff - to Help You and Your Loved ones.
