This is the World Premiere of my BBC award winning play (special prize Alfred Bradley Bursary Award 2014), coming to Manchester 1st - 12th February 2016. This is an atmospheric and disturbing story of two lonely men who meet in a gay bar. It will be performed in Taurus, a bar on Canal Street, close to where the main action of the play takes place.
Directed by Dan Phillips and featuring CJ de Mooi (from BBC's Eggheads), these are the production's initial performances before heading to various festivals and theatres around the UK.
As well as the performances, we will be holding after-show Q&As with cast, writer and crew, running workshops for actors and writers, and creating a role for a young creative - either production or directing assistant - to gain first hand knowledge and experience of producing a play.
I am looking for £500 to help with the atmosphere of the piece - sound, design, lighting - in order to to present this new play in the best possible way.
