The Kuvarba Girls' School

As part of our voluntary work, we would like to secure funds for the Kabir Trust of Palanpur, Gujarat initiated in 1998, which established the Kuvarba School for 2,350 girls from the ages of 3 to 17. The annual fees for a supply of books, academic tuition and  uniform is INR 5000(£55). Despite this nominal fee, families cannot afford to send their daughters to school, prioritising the education of their sons only, as a result of such an engrained cultural gender bias. With your contribution, we hope to equip many  more girls with the tools they need for a greater tomorrow.
