The Crisis House Project

I would like to give everyone an update on the crisis house in Blackpool on behalf of Ange  and myself. After months of battling with the council to get the go ahead on the property, Angelica was advised on a loophole. The hotel had been refurbished with only needing a clean up to allow carpet to be fitted, in turn this would allow the property to be furnished. Unfortunately we learnt of the news that the hotel had been broken into. The thieves have taken the boilers, the copper piping, fixtures and fittings. Having ripped out the boilers, the water hadn’t been turned off and has resulting in the building being flooded which the basement has taken the brunt of the damage. The estimate cost of the damage is in the region of £30K, This includes rewiring the electric, new ceilings, new boilers, new piping and not to mention new sinks etc etc. The insurance company won’t pay out as the property was vacant. Even though this is devastating to hear and see. WE must push on, we continuing in Jordans honour, we do it for everyone suffering who needs help. Blackpool is crying out for the crisis house, the NHS, the military, the police force, the general public. So this is a call to arms to come together as a community to get Elizabeth House up and running to serve the people.

1. We will want to make the property more secure.

2. Need a clean up operation in place to get rid of the mess.

3. Use the monies raised for materials that were stolen.
