In light of the current situation regarding COVID-19/Coronavirus, The Jago sadly closed its doors on 16 March until further notice (shortly after our 1st birthday :,(
While we understand that so many of you are facing similarly uncertain times, we are encouraging everyone in the community and beyond who is able to and wants to play a part in safeguarding the future of The Jago, to please donate to this fund, if you are able to. This will support us to stay in business and continue to employ our wonderful staff.
Put simply: without support and action during these times, The Jago cannot survive and its staff have already been placed in a very vulnerable financial position.
The Government announcements regarding our industry provides us little hope, with few/ if any businesses covered by insurance for this crisis and many unable to access the proposed £25k grant due to the rateable value thresholds. The proposed loans are not available yet and will be subject to application.
With this in mind, we have set up a Hardship Fund in order to first and foremost fully support our staff and a small proportion on our overheads over the next 3 months.
We would appreciate your help in this unpredictable time, more than you’ll ever know. And in return for your contribution, we will be offering a selection of goodies ready for when we are open again!
With any luck, we’ll see you again soon enough! Until then, chin up, please take care of each other, and don't forget about us,
The Jago Family
