Support The i58 Project Christmas Operations.

by Fraser Donaldson in Greenock, Renfrewshire, Scotland

As well as providing emergency food provisions, uniform supplies, baby essentials, fuel support and debt counselling throughout the year, The i58 Project also works hard to support those in crisis at Christmas time. The winter months are the busiest months of the year for The i58 Project.

Last year through The i58 Project 797 people were able to enjoy a Christmas Day meal through our Hamper supplies and 297 children received toy parcels each containing a minimum of three toys each.

All items distributed through Christmas Hampers and Toy Parcels contain items donated by the community of Inverclyde. As well as purchasing supplies to fill the gaps The i58 Project also has to put in place infrastructure and resources to support the enormous winter and Christmas process and to respond to the ever increasing demands on the service.

Any donations towards The i58 Project this winter will go towards the various costs associated with making Christmas operations possible. These include wrapping paper, bags, for Hampers, bags for toy parcels, van hire, IT equipment, cellophane wrap, ramps and trolleys for manoeuvring crates, printers, stationary, leaflets, cups for tea and coffee and many many more essential day to day operational items.

Please help The i58 Project to make a difference in people's lives and bring hope to the community this Christmas.
