New stretch target

If I received the stretch target, it would allow me to tour Harrys songs around the UK and beyond.

My aim is to produce & record an album to celebrate the works of Cornish Folk Singer/Songwriter Harry Glasson, whose songs inform the listener of Cornwall’s history & culture and to also produce a short film documenting the recording of the album.

My name is Will Keating and I am a singer/musician based in the historic port of Falmouth, Cornwall in the United Kingdom.  I am a member of the Cornish Male A Capella Singing group named The Oggymen, who were formed in 2010 with one purpose in mind, to sing Cornish songs in harmony, and to sing them in our community so they will never be forgotten.  https://www.facebook.com/TheOggymen/  In 2016, and on reflection, after a life changing tragedy, I took the decision to also start performing as a soloist accompanied by my acoustic guitar and stompbox.  One of my inspirations for performing solo was to enable more people to hear the fabulous songs written by Cornish Singer/Songwiter Harry Glasson, as he can no longer perform them due to losing his voice box to Cancer!  Harry has been a friend and mentor who I cannot thank enough for the support he has given me, and for having the belief in me to take on his wonderful songs.   In a year I have clocked up 80 performances to great reviews and I now need your help to spread Harrys songs a little futher by helping me produce this CD.  https://www.facebook.com/Willkeatingcornwall -

Who is Harry Glasson ? - Harry Glasson was born in 1951 at Cowscramp Clowance near Praze an Beeble, Cornwall.  Harry joined the Merchant Navy the day after his 16th birthday and started writing poems and Cornish dialect verse whilst at sea.  This quickly progressed to putting the words to music on a guitar that Harry built in the school woodwork department.  Harry gigged around Cornwall for over 30 years and toured the USA several times between 1998 and 2008, building up a legion of fans from all over the world.  In July 2009, Harry was diagnosed with Cancer of the vocal chords, which subsequently resulted in his vocal chords being removed in September 2009.  Harry will still occassionally get up and play a few songs on his guitar and sing with the aid of a valve that is inserted into a hole in his neck.  Harry can now be found out in the countryside, often near water partaking in his new love Photography.  https://www.facebook.com/harry.glasson

Some of Harry's songs are sung throughout Cornwall by many Cornish Choirs and other artists, the most popular being the anthemic "Cornwall My Home".
