David Phelps the author of "The Snow Foresters", "Herefordshire Folk Tales" and other books, is crowdfunding for his new novel, "The Hare at Morning."
It is the story of a Herefordshire gamekeeper, Horace Price, born in the last years of Queen Victoria's reign, looking back on his life and the many changes to the world that he has seen.
But Horace Price is not a reliable narrator and he does not tell us about the people that he has injured or killed along the way. He is also unaware of the moment his life touched the story of the murder of King William Rufus or that, if he had acted differently, new light would have been shed on the mystery of the king's death.
