Childrens Mental Health Project

To continue and extend our current programme into a drop in for children and adults suffering stress anxiety and depression/chronic illness.

Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

Ive been running a mental health improvement program for 18 months which has been helping the community and now would like to extend it further to children and families with anxiety and depression or long-term illness. By teaching them the art of meditation breathing and mindfulness.

The Project would secure and convert the premises to allow families and children to visit on a weekly basis.

I have also been given a piece of land by the local council to create a place to sit and meditate which will be free for all to use. And have an area to plant vegetables for families to come with their children and learn how to plant the seeds and harvest the crop.

This funding would create the charity, secure the premises and establish The Calm Room, and buy the tools for the garden and the staff costs to run the centre. Everything is in place ready. Its already been approved to run the centre and I would need £900 by the beginning of November for it to be secured. If I can raise this amount first it will enable the project to begin, then I will set up the charity and provide access to all children and adults in the area to receive a wellness, meditation & mindfulness programme on a weekly drop-in basis.
