Help us raise money for Celia Hammond Animal Trust, in order to buy therapeutic equipment for cats suffering from cardiac and kidney disease. In honour of Goldie, the most amazing cat ever existed on this earth.
We are Tamás and Agata, the human parents of the most amazing, incredible and sweet cat ever existed in the whole world: Goldie. Goldie was a rescue cat that we adopted from Celia Hammond Animal Trust in October 2015, in Canning Town, London. Goldie taught us what being parents means, got us even closer than ever and changed completely our lives forever.
Unfortunately, on Saturday the 19th of August 2017 at around 18:40, Goldie left us.
A terrible acute kidney disease and congenital heart disease took her away from us.
She was just 3 years old.
We believe that she could have been saved if only the right equipment could have been available. Due to the lack of funds available, the charity is unable to afford therapeutic equipment useful to predict congenital heart disease and doesn’t have enough drip pumps to help all the ill cats hospitalised. We had to hospitalise Goldie in a private clinic, however, they couldn’t do anything to save her as the stage of the illness was already too advanced. We have been left completely broke, devastated and empty inside.
Nothing and nobody will ever bring back to us our beautiful little angel, so we decided to channel all our endless love for her into The Goldie Project: we want to give the chance to other cats who might be suffering from her same diseases, to fight and win these horrible sicknesses.
Celia Hammond Animal Trust is an amazing charity made of incredible individuals, who put exceptional love, attention and passion in every each one of the kitties living there.
Please help us raise funds for them.
Here below is what they need:
- 1 x Multi parameter monitor - It has integrated heart monitor, ECG and blood pressure ( https://www.vet-direct.com/default.php?sid=VD-3443-8671-7372&sessiontag=prodfullview&data=9007 ) @ £1,295.00 -
- 3 x Infusion Pumps -They are vital in giving fluids to cardiac patients, for providing fluids to young or old patients where fluid overload can result in heart failure. (https://www.vet-direct.com/default.php?sid=VD-3443-8671-7372&sessiontag=prodfullview&data=83 ) @ £580.00 /each = £1740.00
The multi parameter monitor and the 3x infusion pumps are £3035 in total. We would like to use all this money to buy the equipment and donate them to Celia Hammond Animal Trust.
As we need all £3035 to buy the equipment above, we would like to ask you to help us cover Crowdfunder fees (appx 8% of £3035 = £242.8)
Total to reach £3,277.80
After paying the above fees to Crowdfunder, 100% of the money raised will be used to buy the equipment.
Based on the pledge value, we would love to reward you with food and drinks in our tapas bar: The Budapest Bar, based in Cambridge Heath, London.
Please help us to reach the target and let’s help those beautiful kitties in trouble!
Thank you so much,
