by The East Anglian Storytelling Fabulation in Wherstead, Suffolk, England

Welcome to the East Anglian Storytelling Festival 2018 at Jimmy's Farm!

It's the fourth year of our annual festival of stories and this year it takes place from Friday 15th June to Sunday 17th June at Jimmy's Farm in Suffolk - and in keeping with our fabulous new venue it's going to be bigger and better than ever before!

If you're new to us and would like to know a little more, please read on... otherwise scroll down for info on how to get your Pay-as-you-feel tickets!

The East Anglian Storytelling Festival will be hosting more than thirty local, national and international storytellers for a wonderful weekend of stories over three days in the idyllic setting of Jimmy's Farm. Our patron Taffy Thomas MBE, the first storytelling laureate will be telling across the weekend, as well as local East Anglian legend John Row and acclaimed tellers from further afield including Giles Abbott and Liz Weir. There'll be stories for children, stories for families and even strictly adult-only stories - so if you like stories this is the event to come to!

It all began in 2015, when a group of East Anglian storytellers got together to put on a celebration of everything that was great about East Anglian storytelling and it was such a success with audiences and storytellers alike that we just kept doing it.

So whether you are new to storytelling, just curious as to what it's all about,  or even a storyteller yourself, then there is a place for you at this event. Pop along for a day, an afternoon or even a whole weekend and see what we're about.   The event is a pay as you feel event so that we can cover our costs for the weekend.

Donate and get your Pay-as-you-feel tickets here!

At the East Anglian Storytelling Festival we think stories are really important so we try to make our festival accessible to everyone - and you can help with that by donating or getting your 'pay-as-you-feel' tickets in advance here: There are various options depending on what you want to pay - and if you want to pay more then you can always add a donation when you check out!
