About my idea:
I have always been a fan of card games of all types. One of my favourite is cards against humanity (much like most). The dark side of humour is loosely based off the same play style but much darker, much... much darker. You need to have a dark, sick and twisted sense of humour. If easily offended then this isn't for you.
The game will contain
*50 question cards
*100 answer cards
* multiple trap cards that will have the dealer humiliate themselves.
* 50 counters.
Its a very simple game. One way or another one player starts off with a innocent question card. The other players pick an answer and hand it faced down to the question reader. Once the question reader receives all answer cards then he/she shuffles the cards and then reads them aloud. The one they think is the best played card (either funniest or goes well with the question) then the winning player gets a counter.
If dealer picks up a question card that is a trap card the dealer must do as the card requires. If done then dealer gets 2 counters.
First person to 10 counters is declared the winner.
My goals:
First: raise enough to have a prototype built.
Second: get feedback and adjust the game accordingly.
Third: secure a local or local-ish printing company.
Fourth: release the game.
Fifth: (if well liked) Development of a mobile version or other platforms.
