The children of Weymouth and Portland have very little to do, often left to their own devices. The budget cuts in schools usually means that arts and crafts are the first things to be cut.
We would like to buy materials and lease a space that's accessible for all ages and abilities to allow children to express themselves in a positive direction.
The children will be able to take home their work or display it in the space, giving them a sense of pride and achievement.
Local children are hitting social media for all the wrong reasons, that needs to change by giving them a space where they feel respected and valued, developing into positive role models for the younger generation.
