Right so our vision is to create an exhibition at the Surface gallery within Nottingham for one week that emulates what we have all experienced within our world currently. The covid, the lockdown, the loss of jobs, the loss of peoples homes, the loss of family, mental health, the future that is an uncertain entity. Optimistic of the future: schools opening, even the possibility of travel and holidays.
All these subjects that are visualised by art within the form of: paintings, sculptures, photography and textiles.
I am in no doubt that the future is more know un- certain than ever before and although an exhibition for a week may not save lives but at least it can raise spirits and re-invigorate peoples creatives minds.
The amount we need to raise is £400 for a full week gallery session within the centre of Nottingham.
