Your use of the word "movement" is a captivating term. I'm sure the community of Aberdeen and those in the North East will be buzzing with excitement. Your tremendous vision Fiona for, eventually, an international marine life centre is one I want to share with others in whatever capacity I can. It can only bless the people of Aberdeen City! I like your idea and what you’re creating, will be a great place where people can come, learn and admire a beatiful Scottish spot. Maybe when everything is running well you could think to have a submarine for the people to see the seabed as well. Good luck 😉

Hi Fiona, You should sign up to www.keepscotlandbeautiful.org newsletter which has a list of different grants and funds available to non profit/charitable companies involved with environmental issues each month. If you send me your email address I can send you a list of funding organisations which I have looked into for Slopefield allotments. All the best, Sandy.

This is a great idea to promote the wonderful wildlife of Aberdeen City and Shire to its inhabitants. Aberdeen Harbour and Greyhope Bay are one of the best places to see bottlenose dolphins from the shore in Europe, as the animals forage and play.

I have great memories of the area . I played there at a very early age . My grandmother lived in Wood Street , almost on the doorstep and I’m old enough to remember the guns being present at the Torry Battery . I would dearly love to see your project proceeding to fruition . Aberdeen needs more people like you . Tried to visit the Bon Accord Centre pop up shop but was unaware it was closed on a Monday . I think I’ll make you my pet charity ! By the way my son in law is Ricky Wood of TVP video who has done some minor work for you . Kind regards George
