So awesome to see a project like this grow with all the good intentions! Community spirit, conservation and passion!! Good luck all!!
Great idea, I hope it comes to fruition. Aberdeen needs innovative development.
The area needs development the dolphin watch will be a great asset
Good Luck Fiona, looking forward to seeing the next stage of Greyhope Bay come to life.
Your use of the word "movement" is a captivating term. I'm sure the community of Aberdeen and those in the North East will be buzzing with excitement. Your tremendous vision Fiona for, eventually, an international marine life centre is one I want to share with others in whatever capacity I can. It can only bless the people of Aberdeen City! I like your idea and what you’re creating, will be a great place where people can come, learn and admire a beatiful Scottish spot. Maybe when everything is running well you could think to have a submarine for the people to see the seabed as well. Good luck 😉
Hi Fiona, You should sign up to www.keepscotlandbeautiful.org newsletter which has a list of different grants and funds available to non profit/charitable companies involved with environmental issues each month. If you send me your email address I can send you a list of funding organisations which I have looked into for Slopefield allotments. All the best, Sandy.
Awesome project, good luck Fiona!
I have great memories of the area . I played there at a very early age . My grandmother lived in Wood Street , almost on the doorstep and I’m old enough to remember the guns being present at the Torry Battery . I would dearly love to see your project proceeding to fruition . Aberdeen needs more people like you . Tried to visit the Bon Accord Centre pop up shop but was unaware it was closed on a Monday . I think I’ll make you my pet charity ! By the way my son in law is Ricky Wood of TVP video who has done some minor work for you . Kind regards George
Looking forward to seeing Greyhope Bay as a major attraction in Aberdeen and working to conserve our marine environment.
This is a real chance for Aberdeen to step up and make a great project happen. Good luck Fiona!
Fantastic project, look forward to seeing it when completed
Good Luck - amazing achievement!
Fiona. Best of luck with the crowdfunding. Your pop-up shop looks great and I love the driftwood dolphin. Go for it x
