by The Society of John De Graeme in Falkirk, Stirling and Falkirk, Scotland

For 11 years the Society of William Wallace has kept the fires of our history lit marking each event in Wallace's life

since 2007 they have held and annual event in Falkirk Scotland marching from the tomb of Sir John de Graeme to the memorial cairn they built in Callendar park

in 2016 the Society of John de Graeme was formed to aid the Society of William Wallace in the endeavour

in 2018 we jointly decided to create a bigger event around the Battle Of Falkirk 1298

while this was a major defeat for Wallace we feel that the bravery and courage of those men deserves to be told and that this endearing quality to never give in to tyranny is a quality we should celebrate

we feel history should not depend on how much is in your pocket but on your willingness to learn

we feel our history should be free to those who wish to seek it out

our aim is to create a medieval style event which would include

food, archery, axe throwing , battle re-enactments and more

but we can only do this with support of the people

we hope we can count on your support to help us deliver history to the people ...thanks
