The Aydin Foundation was set up after 16 month old Aydin Kamaly tragically passed away in an accident abroad. Aydin was a special and unique toddler, he was smart, fun and cheerful and loved to explore the world. Aydin was passionate about water, books and music. He loved to read books and have them read back to him, he enjoyed learning numbers and alphabets. As well as as playing with water.
The aim of the foundation is to embark on a lifelong legacy for Aydin and to keep his name in our hearts forever. In his short life he has left an imprint on many lives and we want to keep on this momentum in his absence.
The foundation will focus on different projects every year ranging from cataract surgeries abroad - giving the gift of sight to building water wells in remote, desolate villages. Embarking on life changing projects to help people most in need, the idea behind this foundation is to educate, teach and provide.
The overwhelming amount of support received has been incredible which we'd like to maintain for a lifetime. Initially one project per year will take place and depending on funding we will aim to do more. The ideal goal is 10 plus projects get completed per year. We will announce which projects will be taking place on our social media pages.
We are in the process of building the social media pages around the Aydin Foundation. These will give constant updates as to our fundraising goals, efforts and targets.
Please spread the word and donate generously. Thank you
