The 91DIVOC Exhibition recalls the impact of covid19. We will show new works reflecting lived experiences and sensory observations. #91DIVOC

MaMoMi Initiative is a non-profit social enterprise.

Working with visually impaired artists for over a decade, our vision is to expand the experiences and enhance the creative possibilities available to visually impaired and deafblind artists, collaborators, and audiences.

MaMoMi was founded by Andrew Mashigo, and currently has Lynn Cox as co-Director, and James Hallam, and Zara Jayne, as non-executive Directors.

The covid 19 pandemic has been very difficult for everyone, and a disability can actually present a lot more challenges and difficulties than with many other people.

This new exhibition will show many exciting, brand-new artworks and installations created by the artists during this very difficult period.

To help us put this exhibition together, we ran a 6-week Crowdfunding campaign which raised £1,817, a fraction of what is required to fulfill our commitments for this exhibition.

The second round of our crowdfunding campaign aims to raise £3,000. This campaign is about opening up our artist's practice so our audience can engage closely with them, to better understand their artistic processes and some of their inspirations. This is also a great opportunity for donors and contributors to meet and make new work with the artist of their choice.

Donate today and join the growing list of admirers.

Thank you!
