The 40 Project - Sanitary Products & Vitamin C

This is a fund for the vulnerable women in Plymouth who work on the streets, are in hostels or are sofa surfing or finding places to sleep rough like on stairs, under boats, in tents.

I hope to provide a consistent delivery of Vitamin C and basic sanitary products to 40 women each month this year.

It's a massive goal but we believe women shouldn't be denied basic sanitary products. Full Stop. Vitamin C can support the health and well being of these women. This is so important during this pandemic.

We did an amazing job in 2020 with about 8-10 of us in the community. We collected items and put them in 'Top Up Bags' and passed them onto services in Plymouth that support vulnerable women. BUT will do need a little more help in 2021 if we want to create something sustainable.

We want to aim higher. We hope to raise a good amount by Valentine Day so we can give out present parcels like last year but this time, add the good news that someone is thinking about them every month and they can easily get the things they need.

The gift of consistency and wanting nothing in return, is life changing.
