Social media, TV, advertising, marketing, the beauty industry and the diet industry all support one kind of body type and give out one kind of message "You are not good enough the way you are"
People's dissatisfaction with the way they look is having such a tremendous impact on their mental health, creating many issues such as eating disorders, self-harm and alcohol and drug abuse
We are passionate about creating positive change within our community, promoting an empowered body image culture and building the first Body Positive Community in Norwich.
We are hosting the Thank You Body Festival to expand our community, raise awareness of these issues and create the space to have conversations to reduce shame and isolation surrounding these topics.
At the Thank You Body Festival, we will also be celebrating the launch of the "#EmergingProud through disordered eating, body image and low self-esteem" Pocket Book of Hope, a collection of people's stories from all over the world, who have personally been through these challenges.
The main aim of the Kinda Proud book series is to decrease stigma, improve wellbeing and influence the saving of lives through providing a more compassionate and positive conceptual framework for emotional distress.

By donating as much or as little as you can, you will be contributing to creating a movement that radically improves people's perspectives about their bodies, re-defines a more inclusive concept of beauty and celebrates body diversity.
Your donation will help people to increase their self-worth, enable them to live empowered and fulfilling lives and thrive.
We want a world where people don't gage their self-worth on how they look
A world where people's happiness doesn't depend on a number on the scale or a dress size.
We want a world where people are free to be who they are and celebrated for being them
We want a world where people feel confident and empowered in the skin they're in and can live their lives to the fullest.
