"I was the first Tetrapod to crawl out the sea..."
On the beach, the only movement is the waves crashing on to the shoreline. That is until out of the grey depths comes the Tetrapod, a humanoid sea creature who just wants to find companionship on land. Set against Jellyskin's unique post punk electronica sound , from the bleak beach to the big city we follow the Tetrapod's quest for company in this strange new world.
This project will be a music video executed by a small crew of third year students from the Northern Film School in Leeds.
With the predominant themes being alienation and loneliness, visually and narratively we have taken inspiration from such works as ‘Submarine’ and ‘Under the Skin’, some parts of which also take place in a coastal setting.

We have the team, we have the story but unfortunately we do not have the funds. This is where you can help. Any amount you can spare will help us in making and delivering this film to a professional standard. Here's some of what your money will go towards.
Make Up /Prosthetics: We want our tetrapod to look less Creature from the Black Lagoon and more Shape of the Water. Your money will go towards making him look realistic and this will be a key part of the film.
Transport: As all of this film will be shot on location so some of your donation will be going on petrol money and train tickets to and from the coastal town we decide on using, current contenders are Scarborough and Whitby. Further, we cannot pay the actors, however all travel expenses are paid so money will be spent on getting them from wherever they are from, to us in Leeds
Food: A hungry crew is a grumpy crew, help us stay fed on set!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and we hope you can consider donating to help us make our film.
This project offers rewards in return for your donation.
