Terriers Farm Solar Project

We want to develop more use of renewable energy projects across the U.K. to reduce our reliance on Gas and Nuclear powered projects.

Unfortunately this project was not successful.

The U.K. has a growing demand for electricity. The UK National Grid assumes it has enough power sources to meet demand, but what the public is not told is the bigger picture. There are several new Nuclear Power Stations being planned in addition to Hinckley C. Current Nuclear Power Stations are being decommissioned and this will leave a short-term supply deficit. This deficit is being reduced by using gas powered generators in various locations around the U.K. and many more are planned. The National Grid are favouring non-renewable or sustainable power sources.

The government had an opportunity to support further renewable energy growth with the Swansea Tidal Project, but this was dismissed despite the Welsh Assembly support. This large project would have been a huge boost for advancement of tidal power in the U.K. and Wales in particular.

Myself and my team have worked within renewable energy for the last 15 years and have seen project costs reduce. We have a development model that The UK has a growing demand for electricity. Myself and my team have worked within renewable energy for the last 15 years and have seen project cost reduce. We have a development model that works to allow construction of renewable energy solar projects and be viable at current grid prices. We are not chasing the prices that were in place to enable Hinckley C to be financed.

We believe that the U.K. needs affordable electricity and that our projects will be fed to local areas to support low income families, we also aim to help the local workforce with providing jobs on the projects and for ongoing maintenance.works to allow construction of renewable energy solar projects and be viable at current grid prices. We are not chasing the prices that were in place to enable Hinckley C to be financed. Hinckley C has a base electricity price (£100.00 per mw/h) almost double the current wholesale supply price (£52.00 per mw/h). This cost, at the taxpayer’s expense, was to cover the financing of the project.

We believe that the U.K. needs affordable electricity and that our projects will be fed to local areas to support low income families. We also aim to help the local workforce with providing jobs on the projects during construction and after for ongoing maintenance.

In the past we have supported local communities and provided helpful information to understand what is going on during the construction phase. We have provided access to the outside of the solar project for viewing and exercise paths once the project was completed. We have also created environments to promote local eco systems and wild flower meadows. These measures have improved wildlife and sustainability in the area.

This crowdfunding opportunity will offer a return on investment once completed. We are happy to supply further details as required.
