We did it

"Use a picture. It's worth a thousand words." appeared in a 1911 newspaper article. In education, our expectation of all children is high. Every written and spoken word will count as they grow and experience life.

The hook to draw children and young people into learning is key. TeachingHooks.com has been created to provide teachers and other staff in education with engaging visual hooks.

TeachingHooks.com has been created as a free venture by Bubble & Scruff, an education agency (bubbleandscruff.com) for the benefit of teachers across the world. The website contains 180 images, one per day for six weeks per term, across the course of a full academic year.

Bubble & Scruff is crowdfunding to help promote TeachingHooks.com to the largest 10,000 primary schools in the UK. A TeachingHooks.com A3 poster will be sent to these schools through a Shared Mailing early in the Autumn Term 2016. If funding surpasses the initial target, the stretch target will allow promotion to all 23,000 primary schools in the UK.

Teachers need to know about this fantastic resource. Take a look at the website, enjoy the imagery and please help us to promote TeachingHooks.com.
