Tatton Park 10K charity run
We did it
On 9th February 2018 we successfully raised £705 with 35 supporters in 28 days

We aim to meet our fundraising target to cover all expenses for a charity event we are hosting in February in aid of Cavendish Cancer Care.

New stretch target

If we exceed our target by £200, Gareth will be doing the run with a shaved head!

Myself and Gareth have decided to take a massive plunge and run the Tatton Park 10k race on 10th February 2018. All of you that know us both, will realise how challenging this is going to be as we aren't your stereotypical long-distance runners and we've only given ourselves 4 weeks to train for this! As part of our final year studying International Events Management, we are tasked with planning and running a charity event as part of one of our modules, aiming to achieve an overall fundraising ratio of 4:1.

The money that we raise from doing the 10k run will be put towards our budget to cover expenses for the charity event, which is due to take place on 22nd February 2018 (More info about this soon, keep your eyes peeled) in aid of Cavendish Cancer Care. ALL PROCEEDS will go directly to the charity. By raising as much as possible now, we can put on a brilliant event in February and raise EVEN MORE money for our chosen charity.

Cavendish Cancer Care is a Sheffield based charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living with cancer in South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. They provide immediate support to patients, families and children through counselling and physical therapy. For more information about our chosen charity, please visit their website -  https://cavcare.org.uk.

We'd greatly appreciate any donation that you can spare, even if its just a couple of quid, to help us get through this run and raise as much money as we possibly can to put on a great event all for Cavendish. Thanks for reading this and for your support.

Pranay and Gareth.
