Ricky is 10 years and 5 months old, recently he dislocated his left hind leg and tore the cartilage, to make matters worse, the whole leg is also now infected.
So far he has received around ~£500 worth of treatment this includes x-rays, pain killers and sedation.
Unfortunately the dislocation is in need of surgery which would cost around £4000, my insurance is only willing to pay £1,360 of the treatment leaving me to pay the rest.
Currently Ricky has to prance around with the cone of shame on his head for at least 2 weeks till the infection subsides. He is limited to 2 ten minute walks a day, in contrast to his 30 min park time where he pretends to hunts crows and squirrels (without any luck), and rub himself in all sort of muck.
Because he cannot get up to his usual antics of ripping apart his toys, harassing for food and raising general havoc in the house he has become a little depressed. I really want to afford this surgery for him so that he can get back to being his old playful, gangster self.
