Delivering workshops equipping men with proven tools and strategies to enhance their wellbeing, reducing suicide rates and stigma

by Feel Good Focus - Men in Burton On Trent, England, United Kingdom

12 men will die today in the UK from suicide.

1 in 4 people experience mental health issues.

Men age 40 - 49 have the highest rate of suicides, however 75% of all mental challenges (excluding dementia) start before the age of 18.

Nowhere are any of us educated in how to support ourselves mentally and emotionally.

Adrianne Carter and Susan Frend are experts in emotional intelligence and the latest science based tools that will support this cause.

Adrianne is the UK's foremost expert on facial expressions, emotions and behaviour and currently works with global corporates.

Susan is a certified accredited mBIT trainer and master coach (Multiple Brain Integration Techniques).

Our vision is that more men are equipped with ways of supporting themselves when times get tough and before they get tough to build resilience.

Personally we have 12 men in our immediate family (2 of those have been suicidal). We feel passionately that our knowledge and expertise will be of immense value to a segment of our society that is under pressure and socially conditioned to not ask for help or support.

The money raised will be funding live workshops around the UK to build a community and raise awareness that with the right tools and know how we can support ourselves.
