We're still collecting donations
On the 1st June 2020 we'd raised £2,497 with 69 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
The COVID-19 lock-down means for the first time since 1999 we have had to shut the doors of the Monday night alternative club night Delight.

On the 1st June 2020 we'd raised £2,497 with 69 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
If we manage to raise some extra money we would like to invest in the branding and equipment we would need to operate a new 2nd room on Mondays.
This extra investment would cover the dj booth, banners, flags, staging, lighting, arcade machines and projectors needed to run an extra space on Monday nights.
The global pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for the events and clubs, which is going to make it very challenging for nights like ours to survive.
Monday night Delight is a Portsmouth institution tickling the vivacious underbelly of the alternative scene since 1999; run by a small family of self employed DJs.
Since the lock-down our DJs have been unable to go out and work, so things are tough.
We are setting up a pay it forward scheme so that you can help us out supporting Delight; pre-buy guaranteed entry to our huge come-back night (date TBA) + cool never before available merchandise.
We have added a 'stretch' funding goal if we hit our initial funding goal to reopen a brand new 2nd room on Mondays at Delight. Extra money raised will go towards the purchase of all the equipment and decor in order to setup this new room.
Crowdfunder are offering up their platform to allow all UK small businesses to pre-sell their meals, events, hotel bookings etc. for cash now on a promise to redeem these at a later date.
We're looking forward to partying with everyone once this Quarantine is over until then will will be live streaming from our FB page every Monday at 10pm <3

It's probably worth having a disclaimer here that we have no idea when the first Delight back will be, but rest assured it's going to be a bloody awesome party, reward merch options are for collection. We can arrange postage if you can not make it to Delight..
