Suited To Help want to support our largely based military based community with an easy transition into employment after leaving the Armed Forces. I have created a service that veterans and unemployed men can be referred/self refer for direct clothing support for job interviews.
We are in collaboration with various veteran charities and organisations within the South West to offer our support to unemployed men and veterans.
All our items are donated new or second-hand from individuals and businesses. We strive to support our clients to feel confident when approaching their job interview. Having something to wear for the occasion, donated from the community will reduce the barrier to employment and reduce the financial impact this has on the unemployed.
We are donated suits, trousers, shoes, shirts, ties, belts and other accessories. We use volunteers to collect items and organise distribution to our clients who have approached us.
We are looking forward to a more face to face consultation when restrictions are lifted. Currently our service is over the phone and distributed via Royal Mail and drop off.
Any kind financial donation will support us to continue to pay for the following items:
Dry Cleaning Costs
Hand Held Steamer.
Re-print of marketing materials such as flyers that are distributed to veteran charities and organisations.
We have had promotion on Greatest Hits Radio Plymouth News, Pathfinder Magazine and have won Theo Paphitis's Small Business Sunday.
Our vision for the future is to expand into woman's wear for interviews. We would eventually like a permanent facility with an office attached to support our clients.
Any kind donation will be a huge support for us
Thank you very much.
