We aim to provide a non confrontational adult presence on the streets to deter the rising levels of anti social behaviour & muggings locally

by Street Watch QPKR Community Patrol in London, England, United Kingdom

We are a group of parents and residents who have been collectively concerned about the rising levels of muggings and anti-social behaviour in the Queens Park and Kensal Rise area and felt the need to set up a community patrol.

Street Watch QPKR Community Patrol began in December 2020 and has received a lot of positive feedback from shop owners, school children and passers-by.  It runs in term time only, Monday to Friday between 3.30pm to 4.30pm and 4.30pm and 5.30pm.

The patrol is a community led, police approved scheme based on established good practice under the Street Watch umbrella and operates in and around Chamberlayne Road, London NW10.

Our volunteers are parents and residents alike who are kindly giving up an hour or so of their time, at least every two weeks to support a coordinated rota to help keep our community safe and free from anti-social behaviour.

We hope to raise £260 to cover the volunteer insurance for the year.
