We did it
On 21st September 2018 we successfully raised £170 with 8 supporters in 28 days

Caithness Horizons would like to create a mural representing Thurso on the rear wall of our building. Murals are a colourful and positive way of brightening up dreary spaces and giving them a new lease of life.

Marc Delaye of Fresh paint.org is a professional street mural artist, who is based in the Black Isle. He has worked with many communities from Inverness to Shetland, helping to bring art to internal and external spaces, giving individuals and communities something they can be proud of and enjoy each and every day.  Designs are always agreed on beforehand, and can reflect positive messages, images or themes about Thurso.  We will agree these designs and colours with our Caithness Horizons team, and the mural is then painted freehand using aerosol paints.
