We are father and son David and Jordan and started streaming sports in the summer of 2019 with a little known equine sport called Polocrosse. We travelled to France to film the European Polocrosse Challenge and then went on to stream 36 UK Ice Hockey games through the 2019/20 Autumn/Winter season.
Then, like everyone else, we were hit by the pandemic and that brought everything to a grinding halt including our income.
We would like to concentrate on the lesser known or non-commercial sports, those that do not grab the attention of the main media or tv companies but are still a vital part of a community.
So far we have live streamed Polocrosse, Lacrosse including the Oxford v Cambridge varsity matches and Ice Hockey and have identified several other sports that we would like to stream and be involved with.
Amongst those are two motor racing championships - Superlites and SuperMoto. These are two minnows in the motorsport world but importantly they allow enthusiasts to compete in a relatively low cost form of motorsport.
Superlites are small, lightweight single-seater race cars with various classes and engine sizes with 600,900 and 1000 cc whilst Supermoto is a form of motorcycle racing held on race tracks that alternate between three kinds of track surfaces:
Our overriding experience so far with the sports that we have filmed is the comradery between everyone involved be it on an individual or team level.
As we are a multisport site our subscribers can watch whatever sports we have streamed either live or on-demand with no restrictions. This gives you better value for money but also allows you to watch a sport that you may never have seen before.
A genuine example is the number of Ice Hockey fans who approached us and asked if we could explain the rules of Polocrosse to them.
The covid pandemic has brought its own challengers for us as we will need to reduce the number of crew as much as possible. This means that where possible we need to use remote controlled cameras.
In order for us to expand into motorsports we need to buy new equipment. For the sports that we have covered so far we have been able to run out cables but the distances involved in motorsports make that impossible so the most cost effective and convenient method is to use a wireless system.
We already have most of what we need but having this wireless equipment will make it possible for us to stream other sports as well.
Your support is not only for us but will give these smaller and lesser known sports and leagues the chance to be seen, encouraging more people to get involved as well as, hopefully, bring in sponsors so that they too can expand.
With the coronavirus still prevalent no one knows when spectators will be allowed back into stadiums and in what numbers so it is important that people still have the opportunity to watch sports at home.
Our subscription fee is £15 / month for unlimited live and on-demand viewing.
Because we will not be filming until the start of April all subscriptions from sponsors will not start until the 1st. April that way you don’t lose any of your free months.
