Help us race at a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity at the Spa-Francorchamps F1 circuit in October!
Storming Camel Motorsport are a small team of people who are dedicated to club level endurance racing. Racing a BMW 328i, now in its fourth season, we've improved the suspension, the brakes and last year invested in a complete engine rebuild which released another 25bhp! Future plans include the addition of aero components and ultimately; more power!
We compete in two or three hour long races at circuits all over the UK. With a great build year in 2016 and a new co-driver up to ‘speed’ we're planning a full season of endurance racing in 2017. Our first race of the year in March at Donington ended in a podium finish!
We will be campaigning at Anglesey in Wales and Silverstone - the home of the British F1 Grand Prix - in the next few months. Plus, we are also planning to compete in a European round at the Spa-Francorchamps F1 circuit in Belgium and race on that hallowed ground, which is where we need your help.
While we cover the costs of most of the actual racing, we very much thank our key sponsors who have given us the opportunity to make upgrades. These include radios so we can better plan our race strategy, a new set of wheels and wet tyres so we're more competitive in typical British conditions as well as our video systems to better capture the race footage and entertain you!
As thankful as we are, what we really need is your help to fund the last part of the season and some of the travel and transportation costs which will allow us to race at Spa in October.
