Telling the story of what you’re doing is one of the most important parts of crowdfunding and it’s vital that the process to do that is as simple and stress-free as possible, so that project owners can concentrate on the most important thing – promoting their ideas to their supporters.

That’s why the Platform Team at Crowdfunder have spent the past couple of months talking to project owners about the kind of flow that they would like to see when they’re setting out on their Crowdfunder journey.

And today, we’re thrilled to roll out a new way of adding projects to Crowdfunder.

Murry Toms, Product Manager at Crowdfunder, said, “To achieve this we have spoken to dozens of people who have previously used Crowdfunder, each with hugely different ideas but a shared funding goal. We have always used that experience and insight to shape our website and this recent piece of work is no exception. Now we have a much-improved interface where our coaches come together with project owners to share their expertise and know-how about the process at hand.”

But what’s different about this new flow for adding a project?

“For starters, we’ve given it a lick of paint and re-ordered the way you create a project so that it flows much more smoothly. There are short video tutorials by our in-house team together with timely and relevant information about the various parts of the flow as you progress through it, so project owners are not scratching their heads about what to do. After all, there can be a lot to take in if you’re using Crowdfunder for the first time.”

Anything extra to add?

“We have also added a much more effective way of matching ideas to our pot of over £4 million of extra funding, depending on what you’re doing and where you’re doing it. By sharing a few details about your idea, we can check if it’s eligible for a big pledge from one of our funding partners. Tell us about your idea, and we’ll do the rest.”

Murry concludes, “We hope that these improvements will make the experience of Crowdfunder better than ever, giving you the best possible chance to cause a stir with your idea and – most importantly – hit your target.”
