We want to have a Christmas tree in the centre of Stockwell, with a party for all to celebrate the switching on of the lights.

A HUGE thank you to all of you who supported our crowdfunding campaign to have a Christmas tree in Stockwell this year - we have reached our target!! So proud of the people of Stockwell! :-) There will be a festive lighting up ceremony on Thursday 5th December at 4pm in the Memorial Gardens - hope to see you there!

It will be a good idea to support communities projects across our diverse communities in Stockwell, Lambeth and London. It helps to celebrate many different communities and cultures and bringing people together. Cllr Mohamed Jaser

Great idea to crowdfund again for this. It brightens up the area in the run up to Christmas! Would be good to try to develop a larger fund which we can help fundraiser for over the year so we can guarantee having a tree each and every year.
