To raise money to help me realise my life’s dream, of helping people at the end of their life.
When I was six years’ old I dreamt of working with the deceased, inspired by the loss of a close relative and wanting to help ensure they looked their best as they said goodbye to loved ones. Unfortunately, due to life circumstances, this remained just a dream.
Last year, I adopted two small children and I came to the realisation that I want them to have all the opportunities and chances in life that I did not. Inspired by them, I realised too that you are never too old to chase your dreams and to pursue your chosen career path, no matter how hard or difficult they may seem.
With this in mind, I started studying for an A‘ level in biology and began working for the Southern Coop in one of their many funeral directors, Caring Lady based in Hove.
Since moving into this field, I have been amazed by all the dedicated and hard working people I have encountered. I have realised that my vocation lies in embalming and, as such, I want to train to become an embalmer which will cost just over £10,000.
As I am unable to fund this myself, with two small children to take care of, I am looking for help with funding to help me fulfil my dream. Please help in any way you can - whether it’s contributing what you can, sharing the message or talking to media contacts who can help spread the word. Thank you!
