I am raising money for a charitable cause that is very important to me so please donate and help me reach my target in aid of 2 Minute Foundation, a charity dedicated to cleaning up our coastlines 2 minutes at a time. A charity that empowers people to take the first steps on their eco journey, educates and provides a anchor point for a dedicated community of beach cleaners across the world.

2 Minute Foundation have been integral in my rehabilitation journey after pregnancy and birth trauma. I used beach cleaning as my gym, physio and my therapy, also finding new friends through the 2 minute social media community.

As we have all seen since Blue Planet 2 was released, the plastic crisis continues to grow the more we learn about the impact marine plastics are having on the oceans.

That's why grass roots organisations such as 2 Minute Foundation are so important in the fight for the oceans, because they empower communities to take their own actions.

As with many charities the COVID 19 pandemic has hit this small charity hard and I want to do my bit to help them carry on. Therefore from 21st to 24th of September 2020 I am going to walk the entire length of the River Itchen, 30 miles from Source to Sea. I aim to raise awareness of the health of Hampshire's premier chalk river, highlight the issues of plastic pollution along the way but also to challenge myself now my fitness has returned to a point where this challenge is achievable. I know to many 30 miles might not sound a great distance or that much of a challenge, but for me it is. Two and a half years ago I was rendered housebound and on crutches in my second pregnancy. I suffered from a condition called severe pelvic girdle dysfunction, I was on crutches and if any further than a few steps was required then I needed a wheelchair. It was painful, scary but fortunately recoverable. After nearly two and half years of gently rebuilding myself I am now at a point that I can exercise again and as a thank you to 2 minute foundation I want to challenge myself to this walk, this journey and adventure.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message, please help me to raise funds to support this awesome charity.
