We provide 1-2-1 youth mentoring supporting children who have mental health issues, children who have experienced domestic abuse, young carers, children in care and children affected by loss and separation.
We also provide low cost activities including dance and sports, foodbank, clothes bank/ toys bank and bedroom furniture for families who are fleeing domestic violence or from low income, and offer emotional support to families. We provide treats and days out to vulnerable families including children with terminal illnesses, children who have experienced loss or separation, children with mental health issues, children affected by domestic abuse and children in care and young carers. Our view is that we cannot take away the past but can create new memories.
In the last year we have donated over 600,000 meals to local families during lockdown, we gave out over 3000 Christmas presents to vulnerable children, over 180 families were given full Christmas dinner, 400 Christmas food hampers, 300 Christmas stockings to local elderly residents and over 1200 care packs to children with mental health issues.
We would love to raise money to be able to keep this support going.
