I have 2 children who have additional needs. My eldest who is 10years old has been been diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, emotional difficulties, PTSD, Hypermobility, cognitively behind 3 years, bowel issues and recently they are now investigating Torettes syndrome.
My 3 year is awaiting assessments for Autism, and other behavioural difficulties.
As a mother I adore my children and give them everything they need, their wants are hard to please. I do work as many hours as i can (I am a support worker for young adults with additional needs).
My children are happy with what they have, but my eldest has started to ask why we haven't gone on holiday like all of his friends at school, it breaks my heart that i just can't afford to go away.
I know i have put a large amount just for a holiday, I would really like to make this holiday amazing and something to remember, as i dont know when i cant take them away again.
I have been looking at going to Norfolk and staying on the broads. Water is a calming thing for my boy's and they love to fish.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
