South Staffordshire Green Party began in November 2016. Since then we stood a candidate in the 2017 General Election, stood twice in County Council elections, coming second in February this year (pushing a long established Labour candidate into third place!). We also stood in the District election in February this year. We now have three Parish Councillors, one elected with 92% of the vote in February this year, and one elected last week who beat the Conservative County/District Councillor! Unfortunately all this costs money and we now have no funds left to continue campaigning.
Your donations will allow us to keep campaigning right up to the District Council elections in May 2019, in which we intend to stand two candidates. We can win these seats if we campaign hard enough!
