Project aim
our aim is to help clean up the rivers locally in essex so that wildlife can flourish without being harmed. i am setting up a group of volunteers to help me do this.
About the project
i started this project as i often walk along these river banks, and find there is so much rubbish that collects along vast stretches. i think its unfair that beach clean ups exist, but not along our rivers. and i think they are more important.
i have seen adders, fox clubs and small birds near or amongst all this refuse. all i am to do is periodically lead a team of volunteers along here to help keep this place a wonderful place for nature.
all i am asking for is some money to buy black bags and grabber sticks so us volunteers can get clearing these river banks.
im sure nature will flourish once these dangers are removed.
