IMPORTANT NOTE: You must be a UK registered voter to donate to this campaign. That's why we ask for your address. If you're not, we have to give your money back!
I'm James Smith, and I'm standing for Horsham in the general election. However, I'm not standing for any of the old parties; I'm standing for Something New. It's both the party name, and what we believe in.
It's time for democracy to move forwards
People are tired of the old political games and point-scoring. We need some vision and optimism if we're going to build the great future that we deserve. Something New is all about opening up democracy to everyone, so we can all have a voice. Our manifesto is "open source", which means that anyone can suggest a change to it at any time, and everyone who's made a change in the past can vote on what gets added in the future.
We need your help to run our election campaign. We need to produce flyers, leaflets, and all the usual election things to get the word out there. We're doing what we can without money, but some things you just have to pay for!
Of course, we're dedicated to transparency, so you'll always be able to see where our donations come from, and exactly what we spend your money on.
Help us in our campaign, and be part of the movement for a better democracy and a great future.
