It is my dream to open a community and sport focussed trampoline park in the West Midlands. This will be a centre which provides a whole lifestyle health and wellbeing service. We want to promote fitness and healthy lifestyle through fun and excitement. In addition we would also like to encourage groups with special needs such as ASD and other learning difficulties to take part in the activity in a setting which is welcoming and accepting of al people
The centre will provide trampolining activity for up to 70 people at a time in a very accessible spot for all the local towns. As well as standard free trampolining we would also hope to provide small group and individual trampolining lessons. In addition we also plan on having a studio where gymnastics, martial arts and dance classes are available.
Somersaults Trampoline Park will not just be a business that makes money. We would like to be an employer who actively helps people with disabilities to work and be a values member of staff and society. We would like to employ around 25 to 30 people on site with an additional focus on giving young people a chance at work and develop workplace skills and gain experience.
This appeal is to help us get the initial deposit together for the unit we have seen and would like to transform into Somersaults. The unit is just next to Junction 2 of the M5 and Junction 8 of the M6 which is an ideal area for people to access easily. It is also close to other leisure activities such as go carting and a leisure centre and has several hotels locally. There is quite a bit of work to do to get the unit looking pretty.
