We're looking to expand our Leytonstone taproom into a brewpub which will see us brewing our modern Belgian-style beers next-door.
Our base target and the Mayor of London's match funding will pay for our new brewery's move, flooring, upgrades, and a new tank. If we reach our stretch target this would allow us to get a second new tank for the brewery therefore even further increasing our volume and the quality and consistency of our beer.
We started our journey in 2016 brewing amongst the peacocks and geese on a farm in Ilford, on the London-Essex border. Taking inspiration from classic Belgian beer, we have been producing outstanding, modern Belgian beer with a twist for a few years.
We're now looking to expand our Leytonstone taproom into a brewpub, bringing the brewery to Leytonstone and putting the tanks and taps together for the first time. We’re offering you the chance to pay it forward and get double your money behind the bar while also helping our exciting expansion plans.
In 2020, the year started off well with our Witbier x Session IPA, Superposition being named the SIBA champion wheat beer at Love Beer London in February 2020. We had grand rebranding and expansion plans that have been slowed and altered by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Our rebrand went ahead with our beers making the leap from bottles to cans. The feedback we’ve received has been resoundingly positive, even being featured in award-winning writer Pete Brown’s book ‘Beer By Design’.
Our very own taproom in Leytonstone opened its doors 18 months ago. We’ve built a loyal following, made some new friends, and created a place that we like to call home.
Covid-19 may have scuppered the big plans we had for 2020, but we are still determined to kick on. We've had an offer accepted on the arch next door to our taproom which will allow us to double our production volume, do our own canning and move our taps and tanks closer together. Not only will this help improve the quality and consistency of our beer, but it will bring a new vibe to the little alleyway outside our tiny Leytonstone taproom.
We can’t do this without your help! With your support, we'll be putting in specialised flooring for the brewery, getting the welders in for those much-needed mods and purchasing our very first conditioning tank which will allow us to can our beer in-house!
