Fund fabric to help us sew scrubs in Snitterfield for NHS S Warks!
by Snitterfield Village in Snitterfield, England, United Kingdom
We pledge to support our key workers in Snitterfield and the surrounding villages as well as our local care home in the neighbouring parish of Bearley.
Right now, a volunteer army in Snitterfield, Wilmcote, Hampton Lucy and Bearley are at their sewing machines making NHS scrub uniforms, drawstring scrub bags & headbands - all working hard to fix the shortage of essentials needed by frontline NHS staff at Warwick Hospital.
£10 of fabric is needed to make a set of scrubs: top and trousers.
Snitterfield is part of the NHS Needs Scrubs - South Warwickshire group whose target is to deliver 600 sets by April 17th.
HUGE THANKS to Snitterfield Village Community Project who have already pledged £250 to this initiative and thank you to our Snitterfield Community Volunteer, Helen, who works at Warwick Hospital who connected us!
PLEASE donate to help make this happen. Every penny is being spent on fabric and will make a difference to the daily lives of the NHS staff during the pandemic.
If you are able to sew yourself and you are based in or near Snitterfield, we need you! We have taken stock of fabric direct from a warehouse in Coventry and delivery volunteers in place to minimise trips. We are working to coordinated deadlines with the main S Warks group. We ask project owners to honour their rewards wherever possible but please note that all pledges are donations and there is no guarantee that you will receive any rewards from the project owner. Please see Crowdfunder's Terms of Use for more information regarding rewards for pledges.
This project offers rewards in return for your donation.
